    My wife and I very much enjoyed the overall experience of our stay at the Golden Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to locate and the surrounding attractions around it is great. The location of the hotel in the proximity of Blackhawk and Central City is ideal.

    Absolutely underwhelmed by my stay, it started with a knocking noise in the ceiling, just good. Then, the food servers were so confused, it made me wonder if they were trained at all. You'd think a place like this would at least offer some sort of special treatment, but alas, I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

    during my stay, I loved how close I was to the Astor House Museum, just a short stroll away, and the Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum that was only about 1 km from my hotel, making it so easy to explore the local history on foot, as discovering these attractions added so much to my experience in the area.

    The staff was exceptionally nice. Upon check in, after requesting a creekview room when we made our reservation online, the woman at the front desk realized no creekside rooms where available. So she upgraded us to the most gorgeous suite we've ever stayed in. A very welcome and appreciated offer.

    The hotel's location in downtown Golden made it super easy for our family to explore the area. We loved trying out the nearby shops and grabbing ice cream at a local spot. The staff were friendly. We even enjoyed a beautiful morning yoga at Red Rocks, just a short drive away!

    My kids wished for a larger pool area.

    This hotel offers amazing views overlooking the creek and mountains,. The room was immaculate with comfortable accommodations.

    Noise from neighboring rooms was quite a distraction , leading to a lack of restful nights, and the restaurant service was noticeably slow.

    The staff were super friendly! Denise at the front desk was a gem, she knew so much about local attractions and restaurants. The food was fast and tasty, especially the cocktails, real professionals behind the bar!

    It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but it was still acceptable given the experience.
